But there’s a bottleneck no one’s talking enough about. ‘The prover’
Rollups work by batching thousands of txns off-chain, then proving to Ethereum they were all valid all using zk cryptography.
That proof is built by the prover.
It can take minutes to compute one proof.
That’s a big problem for
- dApps needing fast state
- Users bridging or withdrawing
- Chains trying to compete with web2 UX
@cysic_xyz is building hardware to accelerate zk proving systems.
They’re designing ASICs and ZK-specific chips that generate proofs orders of magnitude faster than current setups.
