Besides Ethereum, what other Tokens does Vitalik Buterin own?
Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, has quietly joined the billion-dollar club, at least when it comes to on-chain assets. According to the blockchain analysis platform Arkham, the total value of Buterin's public cryptoassets has now exceeded the $1.02 billion mark. This comes just after the price of Ether surpassed the $4,000 level for the first time in eight months. According to Arkham Intelligence, the majority of Buterin's portfolio consists of Ethereum and a few other tokens. Currently, he holds approximately 240,000 ETH, worth about 1.01 billion dollars. This is not surprising, considering his role as a co-founder of Ethereum and from the early days Buterin's long-term commitment to the development of Ethereum.
Ethereum is at the center of countless blockchain innovations, from decentralized finance (DeFi) to NFTs, and Buterin's holdings reflect his deep connection to the project's success.
Other Tokens Besides Ethereum In addition to ETH, Arkham's data shows that Buterin owns 2.906 Aave Ethereum tokens (AETHWETH) and other smaller cryptoassets such as WhiteRock (WHITE), Moo Deng (MOODENG), and Wrapped Ethereum (WETH). Although the value of these cryptoassets is much lower than the amount of Ethereum you have, they show that you are no stranger to exploring various tokens in the Ethereum ecosystem. A Transparent Billionaire Unlike many people in the technology and finance world, Vitalik Buterin's wealth is clearly displayed on the blockchain, with every token in his revealed wallet being traceable in real-time. He first became a cryptocurrency billionaire at the age of 27 in May 2021, when the price of Ether surpassed $3,000, holding around 333,500 ETH, worth $1.02 billion, according to Etherscan. In 2018, he claimed he had never owned more than 0.9% of the Ethereum supply, and his net worth "had never come close" to $1 billion.
Today, the price of ETH is rising and the increasing interest from institutions is boosting his assets. Ether spot ETF funds in the United States have recently recorded a net inflow of $461 million. As of now, ETH is trading at around $4,201, with a market capitalization of $507.8 billion. $ETH {spot}(ETHUSDT)
