As the native scaling solution for Bitcoin, Fractal aims to enhance transaction efficiency by accelerating block time and increasing block capacity, while maintaining compatibility with the Bitcoin mainnet.

Fractal is developed in collaboration with the UniSat wallet and Block Space Force. It enhances Bitcoin transaction speed by adopting a recursive expansion layer approach, allowing for dynamic adjustment of the number of layers as needed. In terms of the mining mechanism, Fractal is compatible with existing Bitcoin mining hardware and introduces two methods: permissionless and merged mining. Additionally, Fractal has re-enabled the OP_CAT opcode, making it possible to develop more complex Bitcoin applications.
