ChainCatcher news, Uniswap Labs CEO Hayden Adams posted on X platform that Unichain is an L2 designed specifically for Decentralized Finance. In the coming months and year, more new improvements will be launched to accelerate the expansion of the Unichain blockchain, including:
Flashblocks - block builder in cooperation with Flashbots, reducing block time from 1 second to 0.25 seconds, allowing most MEV to be returned to users, and providing additional transparency and decentralization for transaction sorting/ordering; Seamless interoperability - through collaboration with Optimism, the goal is to make Unichain a pioneer in driving interoperable L2 development; Unichain verification network - the plan is to continue to promote L2 decentralization through UVN, and add an additional layer of economic security and verification by staking on the sequencer.
